Awesome! I use maple smoked bacon and add chopped onion and red and green peppers and mushrooms to mine. Gotta get me some BBQ rub!

Your mac and cheese and Rib-eye are the very best! You dont take any shortcuts and you’ve changed the way Ive cooked for years. But, why is it necessary to use canned beans?? Im from Texas and I can make the best red beans and rice or pinto whithout resorting to all that pre-cooked buss. Is it just this style if beans because come on… we both know your way to hardcore of a cook to take shortcuts. And the starch that the beans release I would think would be important to your dish?
