3-4 medium-length green chilies, chopped
½-in (1-cm) piece fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 cup (250 g) grated fresh coconut or steamed dried coconut
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
1-2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
Salt to taste
Grind the chilies, ginger and garlic to a paste. Add the coconut, coriander leaves and lime juice and blend well. Add water to moisten and salt to taste.
