Hello, great recipe. please could you explain the way of serving buffalo wings in a restaurant with in 10-15 minuts? of course your customers are not going to wait about 45 minuts to have their wings. Is it possible to fry the wings from both side and store them in the fridge and when need to cook for customer just pore the souce and fry for 10 minuts?

@NiceTrollFTW I dont get it neither, how 44 people want to force others to like this recipe. freedom of buffalo wing recipe has been taken away? LOL
OH, plus, i am not a fan of Franks Hot sauce. Franks sauce already has a butter taste, adding a whole brick of butter is too much butter for me. might as well skip the darn wings and shove butter down your throat…
I just dont get it myself….

@Ehubbgt21 Actually the original Buffalo wings were not deep fried. They were basted and cooked in the oven. This made the sauce cook into the meat and still be crispy. Lazy style is the way most pizza places make them now because its faster to deep fry the wings then shake some sauce on them. Which in turn makes them soggy as hell if you don’t eat them immediately. The “fast way” around that is to order them extra extra crispy but then they deep fry them till they are bone dry. Not good eats.

The original did not have franks in it, thats just become the normal base of all pizza parlors in western NY

the best thing about how you make chicken wings is that you bake the wings instead of deep frying them, nice work!

Question: What gives it sweetness in taste? Is it already in Luisiana sauce?? What can you substitute for Luisiana sauce? I’m in Australia can’t get Lui sauce here. Cheers guys!

@alve1198 The best sweetener to use for buffalo wing sauce would be honey. Sugar and Brown Suger don’t taste quite right with it, while the honey compliments all the other flavours a lot better.

@alve1198 add a little bbq sauce?? maybe a little brown sugar?
November 22nd, 2010 at 01:03
@alve1198 Sugar or Brown Sugar would probably be a good sweetener.
