FRIED TOFU WITH THICK PEANUT SAUCE (TAHU GORENG)
This dish is easier to prepare than the previous one also uses Thick Peanut Sauce.
3½ oz (100 g) deep-fried tofu cakes, sliced
3 cups (250 g) bean sprouts, trimmed and washed
1 seedless cucumber with skin, sliced into wedges
Chopped Asian celery and fried onion flakes for garnish

Prepare the Thick Peanut Sauce following the method
Arrange the sliced tofu on a platter. Strew the bean sprouts and cucumber wedges over the top. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and garnish with the chopped celery and fried onion flakes. Serve with shrimp crackers or, for vegetarians, rice crackers.
