Mushrooms in White Wine

Firm, whole button mushrooms are the best choice for this recipe as they keep their shape when cooked. The dish makes a good starter or snack as well as a vegetable accompaniment.
Serves: 4
225 Gram Button mushrooms (8 oz)
300 ml Dry white wine ( 1/2 pint)
1 Clove Garlic, crushed
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
4 Tablespoon Soured cream
Method
Put the mushrooms in a small saucepan with the wine, garlic, onion and parsley. Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the soured cream. Serve immediately.
