@journey265 I’ve never tried that substitution before, so I’m not really sure. All I can suggest is that you try it and see what happens

i know you have a peanut butter chocoalte fudge recipe but i prefer this one more. Could i substitute the butter for peanut buuer in this recipe?
(i appoligize if i have already asked this question there but i do n’t think so)

@cherie88cc92 You can probably melt it in a small pan on the stove on a low heat… if you’re worried about burning it you can put the small pan into a large pan full of water (make sure none of the water gets into the small pan)

@stralight321 Margarine should work just the same as butter

Hi OnePotChef!..
That looks tasty!…
Just one thing, I don’t like the taste of anything with butter….
Shall I use cooking/baking Margarine instead, or the everyday margarine that we spread on our toast etc?..
In the UK, we have a cooking margarine called ‘Stork’..
Thanks,
Great show by the way!

I always burn the condensed milk in the microwave even before the chocolate melts…

@lewisscott22 No, I would not recommend using 70% cocoa chocolate. It’s too bitter. Use a normal “eating” chocolate instead.
Depending on how large you cut the pieces, this should easily feed 30 people

@OnePotChefShow So you would fully recommend using really dark chocolate (70% coco) over say galaxy? And I am serving this to my class as a ‘Friday feast’ thing to about 30 pupils. How many ‘Chunks/blocks’ does this produce?
Thanks in advance btw love the video, I enjoy seeing people cook when they are more relaxed.

@treasuregal Not really – baking chocolate doesn’t usually have enough sugar in it. Better to use normal eating chocolate
December 2nd, 2010 at 04:42
is it possible to use baking chocolate instead ?
December 2nd, 2010 at 04:50
i’m glad there’s no sugar in it so theres no sugar crystals uh i hate that
