I take my leftover turkey and turn it into my own recipe for Turkey Chili. It is great for those cold winter nights, and it can be made from leftover turkey that has been frozen for a couple of weeks. Thanks for the new recipe for turkey! =0)

How do you feel about pre-baking the bottom pie crust before putting the filling in?

We make turkey soup. It’s simple and tasty. Just take the turkey (meat, bones, skin, and all) and boil. Add tomato sauce and your favorite vegetables. Add some pasta (I like spaghetti noddles). Season with salt and pepper or whatever you feel like to season it with. Let it cook until the pasta is done. Serve and eat.

I use the carcass to make congee. For the meat, I use the rice cooker to cook it with some lop cheong and shiitake.

everytime I see meat pies like this kind, the song from sweeny todd pops in my head. “….the worse pies in London, if you dare to take a bite…”

Don’t even like veggies that much, but I know I’d inhale that. We didn’t get any leftovers this year, but I know we’ll have ham for xmas/new years and I’m looking forward to seeing what y’all will do with that ^^.
